Make no mistake about it – we are a small but growing business.  Fulfillment is the foundation of our business, but that is only the start of The Lynx Difference.  We operate a small call center, assembly department, Amazon inventory preparation department, Amazon inventory staging department and a reverse logistics department.  We have turned our customers asking, “Can’t you just…?” into a full scale outsourced solution.

 

How did we do that?  The growth of Lynx Fulfillment is driven by innovation, resourcefulness, creativity and hard work.  Our team members have a variety of skill sets and come from a variety of industries.  We love honest and hard working people that care as much about the good of the organization as they do about themselves.

 

We are currently adding team members in our Carson, California facility: 

 

Office/Warehouse Assistant:  In the customer service role: you would work closely with the Customer Service Manager to answer client communications, handle requests and meet the needs of our clients. Work with the Customer Service Manager on weekly Amazon.com shipments and other special client projects. In the Assembly Team Assistant Role: you would be responsible for working with the Assembly team to complete assembly requests. You will complete assembly requests and report progress to Customer Service Manager and Assembly Team Leader. This role is unique. Lynx Fulfillment prides itself on having employees that are capable of filling multiple roles. As the business continues to grow – we see this position as a filler into a more defined and focused role within the organization. This role is perfect for someone looking to start a new career or as an entry into the workforce.
Requirements: Ability to roll with whatever comes your way. This position will require the ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, reasoning ability, ability to work as a team and individually is a must. Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and convert in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform compute time, rate, ratio, and percent.
Computer Ability: Ability to access and utilize basic documents and spreadsheets, printing, web browsing and email functions on a computer workstation.
Critical Requirement: You must show up to work as scheduled and have reliable transportation. Every employee’s attendance is necessary on a daily basis for the organizations success. Tardiness and absenteeism is not something that we can accept.  Ability to effectively communicate in English through written and verbal means. Fulfillment Warehouse Coordinator: Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing staff, assigning tasks and re-directing staff as needed to meet service guarantees. This position is hands on. You will not manage from a desk, but be in the operation working beside the staff that you will oversee. This position ensures that orders are processed within our time constraints, inventory is put away and that the entire operation runs smoothly. This means that you will pick, pack and ship orders. You will put away inventory. You will oversee a team that does the same. Some college or equivalent combination of education and experience as well as prior experience supervising and/or directing the work of other employees.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. English is the primary language.  Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to access and utilize basic document, printing, web browsing and email functions on a computer workstation. Ability to function, with training, as a user on a variety of user-based computer systems and complete simple user transactions. The work environment is a fast paced warehouse that is customer focused. We rarely say no to clients and as such you must posses the ability to roll with anything that comes your way.
You will be required to lift up to 30 lbs on your own and considerably more using team lifting techniques. This position is hands on – you will be on your feet for nearly the entire day.  Hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m (with one exception). A requirement of the position is that you wait until the carriers pick up – this could be as late as 4:45 p.m. Some weekends, particularly around the holidays will be required.
